Housing Foreclosure Bill HR-3221 (Housing Bailout) Passed

It does not appear that the president will Veto this bill allowing the tax payers to be responsible for bad bank loans and irresponsible borrowers.

There are those who claim HR 3221 will become effective on October 1, 2008, and others who claim the Bill will become effective on January 1, 2009. If the latter is correct this means that many more individuals will be facing foreclosure… why is it this remedy will save the homes of so many, but no one seems to know when it becomes effective????
