This is probably obvious by now, but just the other day I had to remind a family member. If you are going to buy from any major retailer do a search for coupon codes. Chances are, there will be a code to save you some extra dollars.

Remember, there are many sites that offer the codes for free without any obligation to sign up. If they ask for your email or want you to sign up, search some more. If you can’t find any free ones, there are probably not any public codes.
